Wedding Photography I Steph and Zach
I recently photographed my first destination wedding for Steph and Zach in Jamaica. After going through 1,300 photos, I have somehow narrowed it down to a few of my favorites. There was so much to love: white sand, turquoise water, bright cocktails, reggae vibes, and of course, the lovely bride and groom. I had such a great time photographing the wedding and was inspired by all of the great colors and laid back island style. If you would like to see more, visit my site, here. Yeah mon.

Friday Fun... New Tunes to Download
For those of you who know me I LOVE me some music. I literally go from the car stereo to headphones to plugging my iPhone in the Bose right when I walk in the door. I have appreciation for the billboard chart toppers, but more than anything, I like discovering the best new tune. My cuz, Gary, and his wife Corrie introduced me to Allen Stone just last night and I can't stop playing him. Take a listen to one of my faves, "Sleep"!
P.S. I'm not sure what's goin on, but I love how he is playing in a bike shop... and his style is just amazing. What a Friday treat.

Bonnie Bucks for Wear House, Downtown Portsmouth
I recently worked on the design and concept for "Bonnie Bucks", a print piece for Wear House of downtown Portsmouth, a high end consignment shop. The owner, Angela, is offering the Bonnie Bucks as an incentive to visit the fabulous boutique and create buzz about consigning your own items. Unlike many other local offers, she offers a 50/50 consignor split for all of your duds and accessories in excellent condition. Why not clean our your closet and get rid of what you no longer have use for? It might be the exact thing someone else is looking for! Visit the Wear House site here.

Consignment for Cash!
Click here to view a video of the lovely Janet Sinclair of La Femme Chic Consignment discussing the wonderful world of purchasing high end clothing and accessories at a fraction of the cost. Working on the branding and web site for La Femme Chic has been a great deal of fun. Janet is always planning a special event whether it be a collaborative celebration with a local art gallery, fashion show or raising money for her beloved Greyhound rescue charity. Visit here to check out her web site.

Laura & Tim I Wedding Invitations
Laura and Tim opted for a clean and streamline approach with letterpress invitations and coordinating response card, envelope, reception card and a double sided accommodations/directions insert. The conservative cobalt blue script stood strong against the Cranes Lettra ivory paper. I usually go for the more funky and eccentric approach when it comes to wedding suites, so it was fun to explore their style. Thank you guys! Also, thanks to Whitney and Samantha over at Gus and Ruby for the fantastic letterpress printing!

Emily & Isaiah I Wedding Invitations
Here are Emily and Isaiah's rustic woodland wedding invitations. Emily wanted an organic feel with a palette inspired by her wedding colors. We kept with the "green" approach by using recycled kraft envelopes and a response postcard with coordinating invitation. The look was finished off with jute twine wrapping. I love the airy approach to this invitation and the way it reflects the care free, nature loving bride and groom. It most certainly sets the tone for their special day in June. We can't wait to celebrate... Cheers guys and thank you!

Music Monday... new tunes for you... and FREE download
Two Fine Albums
Below, take a listen to Ben Howard. I recently bought the entire album, Every Kingdom, on iTunes, but this is one of my faves. It reminds me of Mumford, but a little more laid back. Great work music or for a long car ride.
Second: Check out Harper Blynn, with hints of Guster and Ben Folds, the album is not only stellar, it's FREE. Visit here to download.
Enjoy some fine music on a fine day. Still catching up from my trip, but I will have some postings soon!
Cheers, K

Trip to NYC
As you know I was in NYC this past weekend visiting one of my best buddies to put together her wedding invitations (and eat bagels, drink grapefruit vodkas, visit michael kors......). I will be posting her invitations at a later date, but here are a few teasers! What an awesome weekend it was. Pura Vida! Wahoo! Also - random thought, but how GORGE is Lana Delrey? Wow.

Alisa's Save the Dates are based on a rustic wood grain design in my etsy shop. We customized them with her wedding colors and corresponding moss green envelopes. Thanks Alisa!

Hockey Print for Strauss
I recently did a fun project for a buddy of mine who mentors a young boy named Strauss. Jamie frequents his hockey games and wanted to put together a poster for him highlighting his accomplishments as a goalie. I thought it was such a cute idea I wanted to share it! Hope the weekend was a fun one... I was in NY putting together wedding invitations that I will post soon!
