I have been excited to post wedding invitations for my good friend, Jenna. Her and Barker got married this past weekend at Shelburne Farms in Vermont. The venue was gorgeous, right on the lake, and they had the most perfect weather.
As soon as Jenna showed me photos of the venue and ideas she had for the invitations, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. The drive into the venue is about 10 minutes long down a dirt road lined with beautiful trees and open farmland. The design was inspired by the landscape and it's crisp color.
The invitations were letterpressed on Cranes Lettra with a palette of grey and citron. Jenna found a material she loved in NY, where she currently lives, and we shipped it to a lovely friend of mine, Michelle, from Pink Hydrangea to be sewn into pockets for the suite. Grey bakers twine and a sprig of lavender add the perfect finishing touch. I particularly loved working on these invitations because they truly encorporate all the senses! Jenna and I had a lot of fun working on these together, and she gave me a lot of creative freedom, which was very cool.
Love you buddy... you and Barker will have the happiest life together!

Branding for Coralie Beatrix
Katie is the master mind behind Coralie Beatrix, a popular shop on Etsy specializing in convertible wrap dresses. For those of you who have seen my wedding photos, my bridesmaids wore the most lovely navy gowns from her company. Below were some ideas for her new logo. She is often inspired by surfing, leading a casual lifestyle and has referred to her creations as "octopus dresses". This was also the inspiration for many of my logo designs. Visit her shop here!

Be my bridesmaid?
I thought this was a really cute idea...
A lovely bride asked me to turn a stationary design of mine into "be my bridesmaid?" folded cards for her to write a message and give to her party. Hers and others will soon be available in my Etsy shop!

Sweet Engagement Shoot by DiBezi Photography
This is one of the better engagement shoots I have ever seen. One, they brought their pup along, which is automatic cool points. Two, it is so relaxed and reflects every day life of a couple rather than being so planned and mechanical. Third, they are both good looking, which never hurts. I just love how the small every day moments are captured without being over the top. You can find the full posting here. Enjoy your weekend, and if you want an engagement shoot, contact me!
