Tune into it Tuesday :: Imagine Dragons ::

a feel good tune for your tuesday afternoon... it is tuesday, right? i am losing it.

i start every morning in bed logging into itunes to listen to some music to get me goin' for the day... today i stumbled on imagine dragon, on top of the world. their cd is a mix between mumford, j band, coldplay, and train. a little bit of everything, but this is one of my fave so far. go grab the cd, it's worth it... and it's only $7.99!

Color Coded :: Burgundy ::

a fashion favorite this fall? burgundy. as in the color, not the news anchor, even though we all love guys who smell of rich mahogany. it suits most skin tones and can be a great replacement for the typical black. don't get me wrong... about 80% of my closet is black, but i may need to grab something in this pretty wine shade. i like to drink it, so why not, right? try it with black (the obvious one), red, mustard, hunter green, or for the risk takers... pale pink.

Feature Friday w. Jess :: Summer to Fall ::

I loved Jess's outfit so much I wanted to share it this Friday! It is the perfect way of transitioning that favorite white summer dress into Fall. Don't give up on the white! She knotted and layered a chambray button down and sweater throw vest. The colors are neutral and earthy, which I love. Harness boots and bangles were the perfect finish to this laid back look. hello, monday...

It has definitely been one of those Mondays. A lot of catch up, chowing down on yogurt and granola in front of the computer jamming away emails and it's about time I got myself to the gym... so until tomorrow...

Perk Up Tune for Your Hump Day

I know this isn't a newer tune, but it had to be played... I have been listening to it non stop lately and just love the upbeat version with Mark Ronson. I miss Amy... does anyone know of an artist who has a similar sound and style?

She rocks the stage in this video... Thought we could all use a pump up on this rainy wednesday afternoon. It's only 2pm and is dark enough to be 7.

One Year Today...

 
One year ago today Palmer and I were saying "I Do". It is truly an amazing thing when you find your true love and best bud. We will forever cherish our special day and getting to spend it with the ones we love most in the world (and sweating on the dance floor). Here is to an amazing first year together and many more to come. You inspire me. Pura Vida... K
