Beachside Letterpress Invitations

and happy 2014 to you! it has been quite some time... too long really... since i last posted.

but here we are starting it off right with this beautiful coastal wedding invitation suite. metallic silver ink printed on 220lb cranes lettra soft white paper packed to perfection. i personally love the sea horse detail and additional texture used throughout the design.

 also included in this suite was a thank you note that was at each place setting on the big day. a letterpressed card written by the bride and groom was mounted to a silver glittered backer to add that perfect amount of sparkle.

 

jennifer + travis: outdoor rustic wedding invitations

jennifer and travis's wedding is fast approaching and i wanted to share their custom invitation suite as it fits perfectly with the season turning. the couple wanted the design to reflect bits of their world at home; sitting on the adirondack chairs enjoying a glass of wine while watching the birds fly by. they are a laid back couple tying the knot at saltwater farm vineyard in stonington, ct and wanted to reflect the venue in their own way with a rustic color palette.

the suite included a burlap and lace belly band finished with burgundy silk ribbon as well as batik envelope liners and hand drawn elements.

wedding invitations for shannon + nick

shannon and nick opted for mixed patterns and a fun color palette for their invitations. the complete suite design is below along with fan programs used during the ceremony highlighting the wedding party and family. the suite complimented their save the dates originally posted here. you guys rock... i hope you had an amazing day and honeymoon!

letterpress stationery for A + B

i recently designed stationery for Alissyn and Bryan. thinking ahead, they kept the card simple with their names so they can be used as thank you notes now and and stationery for future use!

Save The Date!

I am so excited to be (finally) posting my Save the Dates cards that I designed. Michael and I had fun with our engagement shoot... they were so beautiful that I had to incorporate one in the design. I later realized that I wanted the photo to be the main focus. I love how they came out! Already thinking up ideas for my invitations... hmmmmm

Stephanie & Taylor are getting married!

If there is one person I love working with... it's Stephanie. We have really similar taste so of course that makes things easy, but more than that she is a wonderful friend! They chose to do a 5x7 postcard which is a great, environmentally friendly option for Save the Date cards. I can not wait to start working on their wedding invitations! Cheers guys :)
